A Princess in My Shoes
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Clara Martins is fed up with her life. The constant grind of school, tests, rushed routines, public transportation, television, and frozen food is getting to her. However, she never expected her wish to live in another world to come true in such a strange way.
When Princess Sofia from the kingdom of Charmelyn appears in Clara’s living room, crossing through a centenary painting that was supposed to be her grandmother’s birthday gift, an unexpected exchange occurs. Clara finds herself in Sofia’s world, living in the castle in a different time period, while Sofia takes over Clara’s life and her problems.
Unable to return until the passage opens, Clara must navigate the challenges of living in a castle, dealing with a wicked stepmother, attending a ball where she is expected to dance with potential suitors, and finding herself drawn to a commoner. As she adapts to life as a character from old stories, Clara learns that not everything will be a fairytale.
