The Girl of the Tower
ABOUT THE BOOK:
A BROKEN-HEARTED GIRL who finds her strength.
A NOT-VERY-HEROIC PRINCE who can’t decide between two sisters.
A KING WHO HAS BEEN LYING TO HIS PEOPLE and will do everything in his power to keep the magic in the world.
A GRUMPY WIZARD with mysterious reasons to partner up with a GOOD-HEARTED WARRIOR to go against the king and change a millennial tradition.
ALLIANCES EMERGE AND ENEMY SIDES CLASH when for the first time the magic is gone and the fate of Tornnis lies in the hands of the winner.
For the past ten years, Sophie has been held captive in the Tower. Despite her longing for freedom, she has resigned herself to her isolation, believing she serves a greater purpose. Dorian, her only visitor, whom she loves deeply and trusts completely, has assured her that she will finally be freed on her seventeenth birthday to accomplish something extraordinary.
However, Sophie’s hopes are dashed when she discovers that her fate is much harsher than Dorian led her to believe. She realizes that he is not the Prince Charming she had imagined, and she feels powerless to change her bleak future, as the forces keeping her imprisoned are too formidable to overcome. Just before her impending “Last Day”, two enigmatic men arrive and reveal that she is an essential part of a larger plan. Seeing them as her ticket to freedom, Sophie agrees to escape with them to Tornnis, the magical land across the sea.
Throughout her journey, Sophie must evade a tyrannical king and his vast army of soldiers and wizards. She discovers an awe-inspiring yet frightening new world, experiences unfamiliar emotions, and finds herself possessing incredible powers. Amidst a group of outcasts whom she both admires and despises, Sophie must strive to become the hero they expect her to be. But saving Tornnis comes with challenges, including embracing a family member she has no memory of and letting go of the person she once loved.

REVIEWS & QUOTES:
“This book was absolutely lovely! I really enjoyed the fact that it didn’t have a common plot and that it was different from most YA fantasy books. The characters and world were so beautifully and well written that I could clearly picture the characters and their environment. Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys YA fantasy.” – Breagh Stirling (bookstagram: @fangirl_lovesbooks)
